Essential tremor is the most common form of disorder related to movement. Essential tremor is a chronic neurological disorder that more commonly affects the upper parts of the hands. Tired muscles of the affected parts can increase the shaking. Therefore, you must take proper rest to avoid uncontrollable bouts of shaking caused by fatigue. Have proper seven to eight hours sleep at night. If the symptoms worsen during nighttime can make it difficult for you to sleep then you need to consult your doctor.
Stress as well as anxiety can trigger shaking of the affected part. Hence, you muse relax yourself and try to stay away from stressful situations. You must also practice some relaxation technique like meditation, reiki or deep breathing to relax yourself on everyday basis.
Even scientific research has confirmed that caffeinate drinks stimulates the secretion of adrenaline, which may increase the trembling of the affected part. Hence, the patients must avoid the consumption of tea and coffee. You must switch to herbal tea for better health.
Studies have shown that symptoms of essential tremor may lessen for a while. The symptoms return once the effect of alcohol has died. Hence, you must reduce the intake of alcoholic drinks else you be become addicted to it feeling that it helps in calming down the symptom for a short while.
