Different kinds of pain can be experienced by a person throughout his lifetime. They may hamper his/her physical activities or reduce bodily strength. Knee pain is the most common joint problem seen in most people. When it is caused by strain or physical exertion and injuries like ligament/cartilage tear it may be temporary. However, when it is lead by medical conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, bursitis or infection, knee pain becomes a chronic illness.

Home Remedies for Knee Pain
The Indian kitchen houses a variety of spices and herbs which can reduce knee pain. By taking these eatables in appropriate proportions, patients can make the knees stronger and more flexible.

  • Fenugreek Paste
    Roast and crush a handful of fenugreek seeds. Take 2 tsp of this powder and add it to lukewarm water for making a thick paste. Apply on the affected area and remove after drying.

  • Sesame or Mustard Oil Massage
    Fry 2 cloves of garlic in 2 tbsp of sesame oil or mustard oil until they turn black. Remove the vessel from heat and strain the oil. Once the oil has cooled to a comfortably warm temperature, massage it into the skin around affected area. Leave it on for about three hours before washing it off. Do this twice daily until you see improvement.

  • Sesame Seed Bites
    Soak handful of sesame seeds in water overnight. Chew the seeds and drink the water early in the morning regularly. This remedy will reduce the frequency of joint pains.

  • Medicinal Lentil Soup
    Make hot soup with lentils, pulses and meat. Add some powder of ginger, black pepper and long pepper to it. Drink it as often as possible for building knee strength.

Ayurvedic Treatment for Knee Pain

    my grandmother was facing the problem of a heavy knee pain, so someone suggested to go for an option of nirogam and some suggested to go for an Ayurveda treatment of Jain’s cow urine therapy, as someone has opted the therapy of Jain’s cow urine therapy so it worked for them but i thought that atleast i can have concern about this treatment also so can u tell me about the treatment of nirogam,

    Actually my aunty is suffering from leg pain and the doctor says it wants oppression and change the leg so enyone advise us to take medicine from nirogam so we want aayurved treatment or medicine
