Causes of Osteoporosis
- Low levels of calcium, phosphorous, magnesium and vitamin D.
- Very common in old age.
- Hormonal changes during menopause in females, decreased testosterone levels in males, Hyperthyroidism and parathyroidism.
- Lack of exercise.
- Intake of certain medications, steroids, etc.
