Ayurveda is a very personalised treatment modality. Every herb, diet, is customised according to the predominant dosha of a person.

Did you know that your Dosha or Prakriti is what you were born with? The Prakriti of a person is formed at the time of union of sperm and ovum itself.
This Prakriti governs the physical, mental and emotional attributes of a person. By identifying and maintaining an individual’s Prakriti, Ayurveda can help each person create his or her own state of ideal health.

There are three Doshas in Ayurveda. They describe the dominant mind and body state: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. While all three are present in everyone, Ayurveda proposes that we each have a dominant dosha that is unwavering from birth, and ideally an equal (though often fluctuating) balance between the other two. When the Doshas are balanced, we are healthy; but, when they are imbalanced, we develop disease.

Hence, for a healthy and long life, it is very crucial to identify one’s dosha and have a diet, lifestyle and routine accordingly .
