Is your teenaged child up till late hours at night? If yes, then he or she may be prone to getting insomnia. Studies show that adolescents in the age bracket of 12-18 years tend to stay awake till late in the evening. This happens due to biological reasons and academic work load. But playing games on tablets and talking on phones are the main reasons for staying up late at night.

The study states that the more active the teens are in the evening, the higher is the risk factor for them getting insomnia. It may cause depression and anxiety disorders too. Early to bed and early to rise seems to be the magic mantra for great mental health in present times too!
