Know your food and ingredients well before you start consuming them. For instance, fruit juices are not a healthier option to sugary sodas. Why? Firstly, fruit juices are less on nutrient content and loaded with extra sugar. They are not an alternative to eating fruits but simply add calories to your diet. Also, the second in the list are the energy bars that are available in super markets. They are simply glorified candy bars rich in processed sugar content making them the most unhealthy food choice. The third food category is of whole wheat foods. These are sugar-packed products made of genetically-modified ingredients and a major cause of trouble for the gluten sensitive people. Another one is margarine, that is assumed to be a good substitute for butter is actually not at all nutritious or beneficial as it is processed out of cheap vegetable oils. Fifth you have is pretzels. Pretzels seem to be a favorite among dieters. They are loaded with salt.
