Having a diet rich in Vitamin D sources leads to a lower risk of high blood pressure. Vitamin D supplements are also useful in combating hypertension. The study involved over 146 500 individuals to reach a conclusion that people with higher Vitamin D levels are less likely to develop hypertension.
