Health Benefits of Mango That You Should Know

The health benefits of mango is not the main reason why we love to eat it. It is delicious and tasty enough for us to enjoy eating the fruit. 1. Anti cancer: Mangoes is rich in phenols like quercetin, isoquercitrin, astragalin, fisetin, gallic acid and methylgallat. These phenols are known to reduce the risk of cancer. Health benefits of mango include having high value of pectin which is a soluble fiber. Research has indicated that have lot of soluble fiber reduces the risk of cancerous cells in the gastrointestinal tract. One single cup of mango provides for seventy six percent of the Vitamin C requirement for one day. Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant that is helpful in protecting the body cells from the damage of free radicals that reduces the risk of cancerous growth.

2. Good for eyes:
Having one cupful of mangoes everyday makes up for twenty five percent of everyday requirement of Vitamin A, which is excellent for the optimum health of the eyes. People who can take advantage of the health benefits of mango everyday are less susceptible to eye problems like night blindness, dryness in the eyes, itching sensation in the eyes, refractive errors, softening of the cornea and burning sensation in the eyes.

3. Digestive aids:
Mangoes are rich in digestive enzymes which support the digestion process and helps in breaking down the proteins. These health benefits of mango is helpful in fighting acidity and improving digestion because of the enzymes present in mangoes. Also, the presence of fiber in mangoes helps with regular bowel movement and prevents constipation. Popular health benefits of mango also include being a home cure for inflammation by giving a mango peel decoction to the patient. If you eat two small tender mangoes along with honey and salt it is a very good home cure for diarrhea, piles, chronic dyspepsia, constipation, indigestion, dysentery and other stomach related problems.

The way to use mango on face is by removing the pulp of the mango and apply it on your face skin like a face pack. Leave it for ten minutes and wash with cool water. You must also include mango in your everyday diet for a glowing complexion and soft skin.

5. Diabetes:
The leaves of Mango fruit are helpful in stabilizing the insulin level. To acquire these health benefits of mango, Boil few leaves in clean water and let it stay in the same water for the night. Filter the water and have the same in the morning. As the mangoes are low in glycemic index, hence, they do not contribute in the increase of blood sugar.

6. Improved sexual health:

7. Improves memory:
