The Sanskrit name for Giloy or Guduchi is “Amritavalli”, which literally translates to “creeper with Amrit” or creeper with the nectar. Creeper is a reference to its climbing nature. The classification of Guduchi as ‘Amrit’ or nectar alone indicates the elevated status of this herb in Ayurveda. Giloy is commonly called Tinospora. How to use Giloy Vati?
Giloy Vati is available in the form of tablets, and the standard dosage for immune enhancement is 1 tablet, to be taken twice daily.
