Ghee or clarified butter comes in handy for treating common ailments:

– Smell fresh ghee to relieve migraine headache and nosebleed.

– Lick a bit of old ghee to stop nausea and have 2 tsp warmed ghee to stop hiccups.

– Massage ghee on your throat to relieve cough and respiratory ailments.

– Apply fresh ghee on the lips or cracked heels in winters to keep them soft.

– Warm carom seeds (ajwain) in ghee, filter them and put 2-3 drops of lukewarm ghee in ear to relieve the pain.
